DOMA is an emerging London-based post-production company specialising in colour grading, editing, and VFX for brands, agencies, and music clients. Founded by Jake Evans and Morgan Faverty, who previously built Pavilion Works into a leading social-first production company, DOMA was built on a dedication to contemporary craft and new technologies within our fast moving industry.

We are a tight-knit team based in Bermondsey, working across a broad range of industries and clients including the likes of OpenAI, Spotify, On, and Footlocker, and collaborating with leading agencies and production companies in the process. We invest in talent and are constantly investigating new tools and workflows as part of how we continue to evolve and deliver work to the highest possible level.

We're looking for an Assistant Editor with 2+ years' experience to support our editing team. You'll manage media, prep projects, assist with offline edits, and use AI and emerging tools to streamline workflows. This role suits someone organised, tech-savvy, and genuinely passionate about storytelling and post-production.

The Role

• Ingest, transcode, and organise footage on our servers, ensuring accurate file management
• Set up projects in Adobe Premiere Pro and Avid Media Composer, syncing audio and creating bins and sequences ready for editors
• Create EDLs, AAFs, QuickTimes, and review links (e.g. via Frame.io) for broadcast and social media
• Assist editors with rough cuts, social cut-downs, and sourcing sound effects and music
• Online editing and delivery across a broad range of deliverables and specs, a big part of the role
• Reformat and resize edits for social platforms, and apply subtitles/captions to spec
• Rough comp graphics and titles ahead of final motion graphics passes
• Prep projects for turnover to grade and sound
• Use AI tools (transcription, colour correction, media analysis) to improve post-production efficiency
• Coordinate with production teams, clients, and post partners on workflows and deliverables
• Perform quality checks on footage: frame rates, codecs, resolutions
• Learn our roster editors' and company workflows, documenting and logging updates as needed
• Archive and log projects correctly, and manage client hard drives on incoming and outgoing jobs
• Maintain edit suites and project archives, troubleshooting basic technical issues
• Support suite running and client sessions, including teas, coffees, and lunches when required
• Opportunity to take on your own edit projects as your experience grows

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years in a post-production environment (edit house, post facility, or freelance)
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and Avid Media Composer; basic knowledge of After Effects or DaVinci Resolve a plus
• Proficiency with AI tools (automated editing, transcription, or asset management) and comfortable adapting to evolving post-production technology
• Strong understanding of digital camera formats, codecs, and delivery specs for TikTok, Instagram, and broadcast
• Excellent organisational and communication skills to collaborate with editors, directors, and clients
• Flexible, proactive, and able to handle tight deadlines in a fast-paced studio
• Genuine passion for storytelling and post-production workflows
• Able to work in-office in Bermondsey, London a minimum of 3 days a week
• Right to work in the UK required
